This report examines American teens’ digital romantic practices. The main findings from this research include: Overall, 35% of American teens ages 13 to 17 have ever dated, hooked up with or been otherwise romantically involved with another person, and 18% are currently in a romantic relationship.

Just look at how many people seeking dates or mates are flocking to matchmaking sites and apps.

According to a 2015 study by the Pew Research Center, 15 percent of American adults have used online dating sites (web-based platforms like and/or dating apps (location-based smartphone apps like Tinder).
